We’re seeking a warm, experienced and people‑focused Café & Retail Coordinator to help us develop our café and retail space at Yitpi Yartapuultiku, a vibrant First Nations Cultural Centre where community, culture and connection come together every day.
This is offered as a full-time 2-year fixed-term contract

About the Roles
Yitpi Yartapuultiku is a welcoming, community‑focused First Nations Cultural Centre that supports connection, learning and participation. Our café and retail space contributes to the visitor experience while supporting and promoting local community, First Nations‑owned businesses and ethical suppliers.
As the Café & Retail Coordinator, you’ll combine hands‑on hospitality with meaningful leadership, mentoring staff and volunteers, supporting community connection and ensuring every visitor has a positive experience. You’ll lead service on the floor, shape team culture and help bring events, programs and everyday moments to life at the Centre.
About You
You’re a confident, approachable person who enjoys being part of the action. You thrive in busy, customer‑focused environments, stay calm under pressure and bring out the best in the people around you.
You will hold, or be willing to obtain, essential certifications including Food Safety/Food Handling, Senior First Aid and a South Australian Working with Children Check. Support will be provided to complete any required certification within an agreed timeframe.

This is a Level 3 position which has a current salary of $85,842 per annum (plus Super).
